Sentinel: moderation and community
Bring moderation assistance, welcome messages, self-assigned roles, crew finding, community statistics and help tools to your Discord server. Sentinel is a public preview operated by OpenACAI.
The server owner installs Sentinel as a server app. Personal account installation is not supported. Sentinel stays inactive until the owner runs /sentinel configure with welcome, moderator-log and updates channels. General, crew and help-forum channels are optional. Then run /setup to set up self-assigned roles. Bans and conversation features are off by default.
The installation requests View Channels, Send Messages, Read Message History, Embed Links, Manage Messages, Manage Roles, Moderate Members (timeouts), Kick Members and Ban Members. Review Discord's permission screen and give Sentinel access to the channels and roles needed for the features you configure. Installation does not request Administrator or server-wide Manage Channels. Advanced trap and statistics features need operator configuration and permissions scoped to the relevant channels.
Radio: listen together
Play supported YouTube links and approved Discord CDN media in a voice channel using slash commands. Spotify requests produce link cards that open Spotify; they do not play full Spotify tracks in voice. Only request media you are authorized to share or play.
The server owner installs Radio as a server app, not a personal account app. Allow access to the command channel and Connect and Speak in the intended voice channel. Radio is self-deafened and does not record voice audio.
Each server has its own queue, with up to 10 tracks. Tracks are limited to 10 minutes and 32 MiB each. Radio leaves after 60 seconds without listeners. The service supports up to two active audio sessions across all servers, so capacity may be unavailable.
Preview support and policies
These apps are public previews: availability and automated results can vary. Each server has separate stored data, conversation context and playback queues. Sentinel shares one local model worker across servers, processing one request at a time without cloud AI.
Read the app privacy policy and app terms before installing. For setup help, join the Modstoke support community. Appeal moderation decisions to the moderators of the server where the action occurred.
