DOCUMENTATION

Start with the notes.

A short guide to what’s planned, what’s available,
and what still needs to be published.

Project overview

Free tools. Shared possibilities.

Modstoke is a modding project by OpenACAI, a nonprofit. The plan brings together a mod catalog, downloads, documentation and release information, with Sons of the Forest as the initial game.

This site is in development. It does not yet distribute mods, installers or updates.

For players

You don’t need an account to browse this site. There are no paid tiers or checkout flows. All tools and mods are intended to be free.

Installation instructions will be published with the first verified release. Until then, there is nothing to install from this site.

Game compatibility

Sons of the ForestPlanned

No supported game builds or tested compatibility ranges are published here yet. A planned game listing is not a claim of compatibility.

For mod authors

The SDK interfaces live in the Loader codebase. Public package-format guidance, API references and submission requirements will follow the reviewed project contracts.

There is currently no public upload or submission endpoint on this website.

Downloads & updates

The releases page is reserved for published versions and their changelogs. An updater service is planned, but this website does not currently serve update manifests or automatically install anything.

Release metadata, file integrity checks and signing details must be verified before downloads become available.
